Dursley News - November 2013

November was a time for events in Dursley with the first being the annual Remembrance Parade followed by a service in St. James' Church. Representatives from different organisations gathered at the bus station before marching along Castle Street towards the church for the service. After the service the laying of the wreaths was carried out in the churchyard. On 29th November the Christmas Market took place which saw very large numbers of people filling Parsonage Street to enjoy the choirs singing, the falling (artificial) snow and a visit from Santa Claus.
