Dursley News - January 2008 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
January has seen significant progress on the new Rednock School site as earth removal continues at a fast rate, with tons of it being shifted to the area alongside Kingshilll Lane. This has made it difficult to use the footpath which went across that field and a new one is in the course of construction alongside the road. The area next to the community centre in Rednock Drive has seen almost complete removal of the car park and is nearly ready for work to begin on the foundations. Around town, the old Water Street swimming pool building reconstruction work has essentially been completed, the Coop bakery site in May Lane is rapidly filling up with new buildings and new patio construction has taken place at the front of the Kingshill Inn. |
