Dursley News - February 2016

The long empty site at the bottom of Long Street, once home to the Victoria Works, is at long last receiving some attention. The hoardings have been taken down and heavy machinery is on site to clear the accumulated waste before new construction can begin. The site has been empty since it was cleared in February 2005 following the fire the previous year. Just across from this area the old Lister factory site continues to see ongoing clearance as works progresses on new residential development.
