Dursley News - December 2011 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Compared with December 2010, this month was mild and the temperatures were very un-seasonal. This has allowed work to progress rapidly on numerous projects around the area. Dursley's new hospital took its first patients on December 5th and the new building on Chapel Street which is intended to house Cam Parish Council offices has changed significantly. The timber frame construction of this building has really allowed the whole thing to go up at a very rapid rate. On Kingshill Road the site next to the toll house is also going through transformation, a new concrete base has been laid and the internal woodwork of the old building has been cleared out ready for new construction. |
