Dursley News - October 2015
  October saw work continuing on the sports centre complex at the swimming pool site. Several car parking spaces have been taken out of action and the toilet block which has stood since the spring of 1987 was rapidly demolished to make way for the extension to the pool building. This extension will house a new gym area. In town it's obvious that a few new small shops have opened up recently with several in Silver Street - a welcome sight as a number of properties have been empty for a while.

Sports centre development

Toilet block demolition - Going...
The demolition machine makes short work of the old toilet block at the corner of the swimming pool car park. The block was built in the spring of 1987 so its total life was less than 30 years.
