Dursley News - May 2006

Not too many changes in the town this month, more a continuance of what's been happening over the last year or so, namely the construction of the new houses on the Bymacks site. An exception however, was the opening of a new exhibition at Dursley Heritage Centre on May 27th. Visitors young and old came to see whether they could recognise themselves or their friends in one of the numerous photographs on display. Miss Joan Kingham opened the exhibition at 10.30am and was soon spotting herself on several class photos.

Some of the new houses near the lower end of Water Street, marked by the stone wall in centre. At some point this will become a thoroughfare again.
