Dursley News - June 2008

Just a few pictures this month as most progress in town seems to be centred around the new school at Rednock and the new fire station on Kingshill Road where changes are now beginning to be seen at last.

At Rednock the base for the new sports area adjacent to Kingshill Lane has now been laid and is in the process of being levelled ready for the top surface to go on. This area should be a great asset for the school when it finally opens. Next door to the school, on the site of the new fire station, the ground work and foundations are in place and it won't be long before the walls and framework begin to go up.

Elsewhere in town, two closures took place, one being the Post Office in Rosebery Road and the other was "The Cookshop" in Long Street.
