Dursley News - January 2011

As the snow vanished and the Christmas and New Year holidays ended so life began to get back to normal. Work began again on the new community hospital on the Littlecombe site - the roof is in the process of going on and much of the external brickwork is in place. Close by, further landscaping has taken place with trees planted and turf laid.

At long last, the whole of Long Street in Dursley has been resurfaced and the potholes have finally disappeared. The street was closed for several days to allow this work to go ahead. In the centre of town, in the Broadwell, a start has been made on re-roofing the cottage which suffered a serious fire a few months ago.
