Dursley News - August 2014

August was a time when many events took place all over the country to mark 100 years since the start of WW1. Dursley played its part with a crowd gathering in candlelight under the Market House in commemoration. There have been a few shop changes in Dursley this month, with long established betting shop Maurice Ball being taken over by Coral and new shops opening in Parsonage Street and Long Street. Additionally, at Dursley C of E Primary Academy, the extensive internal building work continues to provide a number of new and refurbished facilities.
