Dursley News - October 2008

The month of October saw the Heritage Centre in Dursley town centre putting on a display related to the part the weather has played in the fortunes of the area. Compiled by BBC weather warden and Dursley & Cam Society member, Ian Thomas, the exhibition proved a great success.

Elsewhere, the new fire station is more visible now that some of the surrounding hoarding has been removed and its layout is now clearer. The new houses of "The Haven" development which front Union Street are essentially complete and many are now occupied.
