Dursley News - November 2009

November 2009 was a month of two shops with the grand opening of the new LIDL store at Kingshill alongside the visbly marked progress on construction of the Sainsbury's supermarket in Dursley town centre. November 19th was the day of reckoning for LIDL and the surrounding streets were jam packed with cars all struggling to make it into (and out of) the new car park. In Dursley, the framework is now essentially complete on Sainsbury's and external cladding began as the month ended.

At Rednock, the new car park next to the Community Centre is being surfaced in preparation for opening and a temporary walkway link has been created between the new school and the 6th Form block so that students no longer have to take the long way round.
