Dursley News - July 2006

The week of July 8th to July 15th saw Dursley hold its Town Festival for 2006 with events throughout the week. An art exhibition, live music, a fashion show, a guided walk, an illustrated talk on the Dursley railway as well as a carnival procession on the final Saturday attracted many visitors. The weather couldn't have been better and everyone seemed to have fun.

Elsewhere, the long established estate agency firm of Bennett Jones moved to larger premises in Parsonage Street on Sunday July 23rd and work continues apace with the new houses on the old Bymacks site.
