Sport in Dursley

Sport in Dursley has been a popular past-time ever since people began to appreciate that their leisure time (what little there was) could be fun. One of the oldest organised sporting activities in the town is Association Football and it was way back in 1893 that the first club was formed. In fact the story of football in Dursley deserves its own page and this can be found by following the football link. The rest of this page will therefore be used to show something of all the other sports that have been enjoyed in the town over the last century or so.
